Research Seminars

UCLA faculty surgeon Dr. Ed Livingston has worked with many residents to help develop their writing and research skills.

Research residents have the opportunity to lead and participate in small group sessions with faculty who serve on the editorial boards of leading peer-reviewed journals. Topics include study design, statistical methods, as well as UCLA history.

Situated on the UCLA main campus, residents have access to world-class curriculum in engineering, bioinformatics, public health, policy, law, ethics to name a few. Several research and education cores are at the disposal of residents throughout their training to enable the pursuit of innumerable and diverse interests.
