The mission of our group is aligned with growth and development of young scientists. Medical students at different levels of training comprise the majority of our group. Students have often started working in the lab as part of Short Term Training Program during the summer between their first and second year, but have stayed on to complete their projects and undertake new ones. It is the determination and thirst for discovery that drives the success of our lab group. The group emphasizes teamwork, the scientific method, as well as thinking outside the box.
