About 25% of the Californians are obese. Obesity is a serious medical disease and it has surpassed tobacco as number one cause of preventable death in this country. The UCLA Center for Obesity and METabolic Health (COMET) is organizing a community presentation to discuss the epidemics, medical, dietary and surgical management of obesity and its related morbidities.
